To uphold the standards of anonymous peer review, all identifying details must be removed from the manuscript before submission. Please ensure the following requirements are met to facilitate a double-anonymized peer review process.

  • All author names and identifying references have been removed from the manuscript text. Citations and footnotes should use “Author” and year in place of names, titles, or other identifying details.
  • Any personal or identifying metadata has been cleared from the file properties. This should be completed using the appropriate steps for your document type (see Microsoft Word instructions below).
  • A separate title page (page 1 of the template), including the names and institutional affiliations of all authors, has been submitted as an independent document during the submission process.
